From the records of the Continental Congress, June 14, 1777

Congress was busy on Saturday, 230 years ago today. There are some familiar names in the text pages shown below: Major General Arnold, John Paul Jones and the Ranger. In other business, the state of New York desperately needed salt, and there’s something about the flag on page 464.
