A Quick Glimpse of the Lone Star

Texas Flag from WindowI’m not a photographer, but I play one at The Daily Flag.

While traveling last weekend, I took photos inside my son’s house and looked up to see his Texas flag hanging just outside the living room window. I raised the camera, sighted through the view finder, and clicked once.

I admit I am biased, but seeing the Lone Star flag always gives me pleasure and this shot captured it well. It was darker inside the house with the sun shining outside and it just happened. The red, white, and blue against the darker foreground, and the window creating a frame for the picture.

This is the time I would like to be a Photoshop master (or beginner). With skill, this could become a masterpiece.
